Business Case

As part of the Reimagining UC Berkeley Campus and Community Safety Program, moving responsibility for the Office of Emergency Management to an alternative department to reduce the UCPD's responsibilities in areas not requiring its oversight.

Objectives

  • Realign the Office of Emergency Management under the Vice Chancellor of Administration
  • Identify an alternative location for the Office of Emergency Management (contingent on the UCPD Relocation project outcome)
