What is LSS Black Belt Training?

The Black Belt Services training is for any individual who wants to become an expert in solving problems, using at times advanced data analysis and statistics. Black Belts tend to work on more complex projects. By continuously increasing the speed and/or quality of processes/products, the organization will improve customer experience and stay competitive and financially sound. If you want to master your Lean Six Sigma skills including change management this is the training for you!

Program Structure

This is a virtual course consisting of three full day sessions (if you've completed our Green Belt Program), incorporating interactive learning methods such as simulations, exercises, and discussions. After completing the training, you will lead a project under the guidance of a coach. The project typically takes 3 to 4 months to complete and is designed to deliver measurable improvements.

To be an effective Lean Six Sigma Black Belt you will need the skills to mobilize staff and departments whilst acting as a valued advisor to senior management in terms of quality management. For this reason, we will spend time on your analytical skills as well as your organizational skills.

By applying Lean Six Sigma principles in a real-world setting, your project will drive cost savings, efficiency gains, and performance improvements—benefiting both your department and the broader campus community.

Second, you will learn a well proven and established structure to carry out these improvement projects with a team. You will focus on tools and methodologies to get the most out of the process, using data and statistical analysis. Finally, you will learn how to implement improvements and sustain them within the organization.
