Problem Statement

In consultation with the community, UC campuses will develop implementation plans to create and sustain a holistic response service portfolio that achieves the goals of Guideline 2 of the UC Community Safety Plan.

Objectives

  • Create a new campus safety responder role that contributes to UCPD’s holistic approach to providing service and safeguarding the community

Success Metrics

  • Hire 11 people within a $1.6M budget

  • Meet the requirements of this role as outlined in the UC Community Safety Plan
