Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Training
The BPMO team is licensed and authorized to train and certify individuals in Lean Six Sigma tools and concepts utilizing LSS training material and programs.
We have partnered with The Lean Six Sigma Company, allowing those who complete the training to receive an internationally recognized certification, along with lifelong access to training materials, templates, and much more.
This training is avaialable to anyone on campus (must have a CalNet ID). External audiences interested can contact us at bpmo@berkeley.edu to discuss training options.
The cost for LSS Yellow Belt training is $175. Dates and registration information is below. Class size is limited to 15 students, so sign up before the dates get filled.

What is LSS Yellow Belt Training?

1-day course explains what Lean Six Sigma is, where it comes from, where it works and where not, what Lean Six Sigma means for an organization and how it can contribute to streamline processes.

Helps to builds a common language across the organization to ensure that the team members understand what their role will be within projects in regards to process improvement

It is an interactive training with a process simulation and not too many theoretical concepts. Focus is basic tools and process management.
Who is it for?
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is intended for anyone (UCB Campus) who wants to learn foundational skills to improve their organizations processes.
